Redesigning a legacy tool into a growth engine

CHALLENGE

The Investopedia Stock Simulator had strong name recognition but was outdated and underutilized—poor mobile UX, weak IA, and little visual appeal. Despite having over 2.3M users, the experience wasn’t meeting the needs of modern, self-directed learners or attracting users from platforms like Robinhood. It needed to become a true learning and engagement tool.
